Aloha Wingnuts!  We recently returned from Kona after another successful stint at the Kona Brewfest.  Thanks to the fine folks at Kona Brewing for putting on a great brewfest at the King Kamehameha Hotel.  If you've ever thought about attending this brewfest, we heartily endorse it.  It's hard work but you know what they say.  This is definitely a tradition that we are able to embrace.  It's a pleasure to meet other brewers and breweries from around the country and it's nice to give our brewers a chance to relax after long days in the brewery, hauling malt, grains and whatever else they do.  One of the highlights of our trip was kayaking with a pod of spinner dolphins in the Keauhou Bay.  This after a wonderful breakfast at the Coffee Shack, high up in the hills of the Captain Cook area.  Imagine eating fresh papaya, drinking strong local coffee, while staring down at the bay with a cool breeze helping to put you in that other dimension that is uniquely Hawaiian.  Other highlights included bodysurfing at Hapuna Beach, coming up with new nicknames for Curveball, and drinking some local Kava.  Feel free to chat up Hootie, Curveball or Alex for more tale tales.  Mahalo!
