12/16 - Rum Soaked Mud - 6.6% ABV, 30 IBU’s
Our house oatmeal stout aged on oak soaked rum. Enjoy!
12/17 - Coal Miner's’ Daughter - 6.7% ABV, 44 IBU’s
Kentucky Common Ale
This Kentucky Common Ale is traditionally a coal miner's beer. A dark brown ale brewed with corn, was cold fermented with Kolsch yeast and then conditioned on Oak soaked in bourbon.
12/18 - Smoke & Honey Milk Stout - 4.9% ABV, 8 IBU’s
This traditionally low alcohol stout is fortified with milk sugar. The sugar lends a lingering sweetness and a creamy mouthfeel. Heavy handfuls of smoked malt give the stout a roasty flavor. Honey malt provides the stout a rich depth. Poured through the NITRO tap for even more creamy goodness.
12/19 - Ol’ Peg Leg Porter - 5.4% ABV, 18 IBU’s
Old Pegleg likes to quaff a good chocolate porter when the moolnlight is glancing off the open sea.
12/20 - Count Vorlauf’s Mexican Dark Lager - 5% ABV, 10 IBU’s
In the early 1860s. our ancestor, the noble brewer Count Vorlauf, was invited to Mexico by Maximilian I of the House of Habsburg. Vorlauf was tasked to produce the dark vienna lagers that the silly Emperor had enjoyed back in Austria. Vorlauf fell in love with the country, its people, and the culture. Before falling out of graces with the Emperor's court, the Count worked tirelessly to create a dark amber lager that quenched the thirst of the royalty and common man alike. Salud!
12/21 - The Mollusk - 6.8% ABV, 25 IBU’s
Thanks to the Seven Days of Darkness, we were able to pull out the stops and brew this experimental batch of beer! 132 fresh Oregon Coast oysters, oyster shells, and two gallons of oyster liquor went into the boil of this hearty brew. The result is a robust stout with an ultra creamy mouthfeel, the flavor of salted chocolate, and a light mineral finish.
